• Seminar 1 – Camera settings 101 – the basics you must know
  

  This lesson focuses on the logistics of knowing your camera gear and how that is intrinsic to being able to react in different lighting situations.  Topics covered include setting ISO, shutter speed, aperture, reading a histogram, an using your in camera exposure meter.  If you primarily use one of the program modes and feel like you don’t even know where to being to shoot in manual mode, or if taking about F-stops or deciding which ISO to use intimidates you, this lesson is a must.  There is no confusing technical language or overly complicated explanations – simply the essentials to the relationships between your settings that you must fully understand in order to really move forward.
  
  Camera Settings 101 is appropriate for absolute beginners all the way up to working professionals who are just not as comfortable with their camera as they’d like to be and could use a refresher course.  I’ve met hundreds of photographers who have questions regarding these basics, but feel embarrassed to ask anyone because they feel that would hurt their image of being a professional.  There is no shame in what you don’t already know, just in not going out and doing something about it!

• Seminar 2 – Before you go – Preparation is the key
  

  This lesson is a detailed look at the way Mike and I prepare ourselves for a successful day.  Topics covered include managing your CF cards, charging batteries, cleaning your sensor, and time synching your camera clocks.  As you approach each wedding or portrait session, you should have a calm confidence that everything you need is ready to go.  If that’s not how you feel, or if you spend time in post-production fixing time stamps or cleaning sensor spots, this lesson is for you!  (Will be available for download by December 24th)
